The Brashear baseball squad hosted Linn County Tuesday evening. The Mustangs wasted no time, scoring 4 runs in the top of the 1st, but Brashear held Linn County to only 1 more run through the rest of the 7-inning game. Meanwhile, the Tigers scored 2 in the 1st, 3 in the 3rd, 2 in the 4th and single runs in the 5th and 6th to claim the 9-5 win. Brhet Place homered twice for Brashear with Wyatt Reeves, Brandon Jochimsen, and Austin Peterson also hitting home runs. Quin Allen and Aden Zentz both had 2 hits also. Place got the start on the mound, striking out 6 in 5 innings, with Colton Sayre pitching in relief.
